Moved here in 2000 from sunny Northern California (wine country) to be with my best friend/husband, Collin. I truly love the South and all its hospitality, but most of all, I love living in the country where I can enjoy the wonders of nature. Being early retired has given me the opportunity to enjoy life at a much slower pace and for that I'm ever so thankful to be blessed with this peaceful life.

Hi Suse...
Oh Yes.... made it to the eye dr. Both Collin and I had to get new perscription lens.... But I already knew that. I had to get new frames, because I don't have a spare pair of classes... My old ones that I used to use aren't strong enough , after all they are about 8 yrs old.....so?? Collin just had to get new lens.... he's going to use his frames again. They are practically brand new. Dr. said he should start wearing his glasses all the time now. So we'll see?
Hope your have a good week at work..... Collin fixed the old mower, we'll leave it at the old house so we won't have to haul the new one back and fourth.
Nothing else new....

Have a good week at work... Hoping your felling well enough to start the week with a Bang!! I'm sure everyone is looking forward to your return.
We have eye apts tomorrow.I really need to get my eyes checked as it's been over two years and my glasses are beginning to fail me?
Keep in touch when you can..... By the way...Candace called and told me that they raised 400.00 at the bake/craft sale they were doing for Meghan's trip to the Dominican Republic that she'll be going to in July with the church.
